Caring for the ZZ Plant

It thrives in shaded areas exposed to bright, indirect light, away from direct sunlight. It can also live in dimly lit areas, making it suitable for bedrooms or places with generally low light. It can tolerate a minimum temperature of 15 to 18 degrees Celsius and can also withstand temperatures up to 35 degrees Celsius indoors. It tolerates drought well, but prolonged drought should be avoided as it can weaken the stems and cause leaves to fall. It should be watered sparingly after the soil dries out. As for fertilizer, it is preferable to provide it monthly during the summer season. The ZZ plant can grow to a height of 120 cm.

The ZZ plant can be easily propagated by dividing the plant into several sections, especially when the plant has grown large and can be divided into multiple pots. It can also be propagated by leaf cuttings, by placing them in soil, which will produce roots and then a new plant, but this method is very slow.
