It thrives in a shaded location with bright, filtered light, away from direct sunlight. It can also survive in dimly lit, shaded areas, making it suitable for bedrooms or generally low-light rooms. It tolerates a minimum temperature of 15 to 18 degrees Celsius and can withstand temperatures up to 35 degrees Celsius indoors. It tolerates drought well, but prolonged drought should be avoided as it can weaken the plant's stems and cause leaves to fall. It should be watered sparingly after the soil has dried out. As for fertilizer, it is best to fertilize it monthly during the summer season. The ZZ plant can grow up to 120 cm in height.

The ZZ plant can be easily propagated by dividing the plant into several sections, especially after it has grown large and can be split into multiple pots. Leaves can also be rooted by placing them in soil, which will produce roots and then a new plant, but this method is very slow.
