Tulip Queen of the Night

Tulip 'Queen of the Night' is the original 'black' tulip, and although it's not truly black, it features deep dark black-purple blooms.

These late-blooming single tulips have strong, long stems with well-formed flowers that maintain their shape and color until the very end. They are the best variety, ideal for warmer climates, but will also perform well in cooler regions.

Perfect for pots, containers, and garden beds, they also make excellent cut flowers. Late-blooming tulips are the best choice for warmer climates; chill them in the refrigerator for 6 weeks, then plant them deeper than recommended, and lift them once they die back.
