Tulip Apeldoorn produces single flowers on long, strong stems. Dazzling, deep cherry-red, cup-shaped blooms surround a black heart with yellow edges. Tulip Apeldoorn is very hardy, a reliable and long-lasting perennial (up to 5 years) that requires full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Excellent as a cut flower, it enlivens borders and containers and is useful among shrubs. Flowers reach a height of 50 - 70 cm throughout April. Plant leaves should be allowed to die back naturally.
