3M Temflex 165 Vinyl Electrical Tape is a 6 mil thick, general-purpose vinyl insulating tape available in various colors. It is flame-retardant and designed to operate in ambient temperatures up to 194°F (90°C). The tape is compatible with cold-weather applications down to 32°F (0°C). It offers excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture, alkalis, acids, copper corrosion, and varying weather conditions. The combination of its flexible PVC backing and pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive provides electrical and mechanical protection with minimal bulk. This versatile electrical tape is compatible with rubber and synthetic splicing compounds, and it is UL listed, CSA certified, and VDE approved.
