3M Temflex Vinyl Electrical Tape 165 is a 6 mil thick, multi-purpose vinyl insulating tape available in colors. It is flame-retardant and designed to operate in ambient temperatures up to 194°F (90°C). The tape is compatible with cold weather applications down to 32°F (0°C). It has excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture, alkalies, acids, copper corrosion, and varying weather conditions. The combination of a flexible PVC backing and a pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive provides electrical and mechanical protection with minimum bulk. This versatile electrical tape is compatible with rubber and synthetic splicing compounds and is UL Listed, CSA Certified, and VDE Approved.
