Satin Pothos is easy to grow. Keep it warm and be careful not to overwater this houseplant. Cold environments and wet soil are two things it will not tolerate.

You will notice the best leaf color and variegation by keeping it in bright, indirect light. You'll also keep the plant healthy by increasing the humidity around it. In fact, its variegated foliage makes a beautiful addition to terrariums.

The large, heart-shaped leaves are dark green and splashed with silvery-gray, giving them a satiny sheen. Its growth habit makes it a beautiful hanging basket plant.

Pruning Tip: Your plant will benefit from occasional pruning, which will help it to branch out and become fuller. Spring is the best time to prune it. Use sharp shears to avoid tearing the stems.

Repot in spring when the plant outgrows its pot. Use a pot only 1-2 inches larger, as a larger pot will hold too much water. It's a good idea to use a pot with drainage holes. If you wish to use a cachepot (a decorative container without drainage holes), set a regular nursery pot into the cachepot. I put pebbles in the bottom of my cachepots to keep the inner pot above drainage water.

Satin Pothos problems usually show up in its leaves. Brown leaf tips are caused by dry air. Yellow leaves are a symptom of underwatering.
