It thrives at room temperature, as it loves warm climates and can survive at lower temperatures, provided they do not fall below 12 degrees Celsius. The ideal temperature range for it is between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius, although it can tolerate higher temperatures as well, according to the experiences of many growers.

It needs regular watering, preferably as soon as the soil dries out slightly. Fertilizer should be given approximately every month during the active growth period. The Monstera plant loves humidity, so it is advisable to mist the plant frequently, especially in the summer.

It prefers bright locations without direct exposure to sunlight, which can cause the leaves to burn and turn yellow. Therefore, it can be placed near large windows to provide light or even under artificial lighting that tends to be bright.

One of the most common problems among Monstera owners is the yellowing of the leaf tips, which is often caused by overwatering and not ensuring the soil is dry before watering, especially if it is in a pot without drainage for excess water.
